Back in SF

AND SO IM BACK!!!

Ok, we’ll I’ve been back since the 23rd of March, so about two weeks now.

After staying up all night in Singapore on the Sydney->Hong Kong layover, I ended up not having any jet lag at all! Amazing.

It’s cold and wet here thought, and I miss the organization of Singapore and the natural beauty of New Zealand. San Francisco hasn’t changed much either.

And I’m back at my job at ILM working on Pirates of the Caribbean 2, though now we are located in the Presidio.

The show is already on six day weeks, which is pretty normal actually for the last two months of a movie. Still, it makes the last six months really feel like a dream. Jumping around the planet can definitely be fun, but disorienting too.

The night before last I had a very strange dream where I was living on some kind of floating tee-ter-ta-ter and everytime the other person would push a little higher I would go down and feel like I was falling. Not sure how to explain it otherwise. It was probably just a remnant of hanggliding though.

And so even now I’m still at work, trying to get out of here as soon as my render if finished. Going to met up with Kirstin and Peter tonight.
