First blog

This is the first post of hopefully many to come. I’ve seen a few peoples blogs and it looks like fun…and let’s face it: its fun having an opinion. But while I hope this is entertaining or at least interesting, I find writing a good way to cement my ideas, polish opinions, and lay the foundation for my memories.

I’m not one to expose myself so fully as others do in these forms, so I shall likely stick to my thoughts and opinions of current topics and random thoughts.

So: here it is - complete and in hand…the first blog post.
