New Zealand Isolation

The feeling of isolation can be overwhelming when living in New Zealand. Its definitely a beautiful country but the feeling of being far-far away - while intriguing at first - rapidly gives way to the great weight of the distance to home.

Its been an interesting seven months here…and soon it seems I shall wrap up to continue the journey home. Another waypoint part of the great journey of the last few years? Its been a mixed success to be sure, after longing to come for so many years. Sometimes its best to realize “better late than never” isnt always true.

And so again I will meet fate head on, in this existential game of chicken.
