Open Letter to Senator Roberts

Dear Senator Roberts,

Concerning your criticisms of the New York Times article exposing the many secret programs of the Bush administration, please be aware that the rights given to the citizens of the US as stated in the US Constitution and Bill of rights are unrevokable except in times of war.

You and other say we are in a “time of War”, but you have not passed a Declaration of War as required for the suspension of our rights. Until you do so, please refrain from your complains against the press to utilize their RIGHT of free speech as guaranteed in the First Amendment.

Sincerely,
Matthew Bouchard
